Door panel bolts ugh!
I have been working on taking by door panels off for a while. I had gotten a inpact driver a while a go and used that to suscessfully loosen and removed the passenger side bolts. Then I sprayed all of the guts with PB blaster that got my window free! And made everything a lot smoother! But the problem was the stinkin drivers side. Those dang things were stuck. The impact driver had no effect on them! And the heads started to strip out... UGH! So finnal they other day I got a screw/bolt out tool and some drill bits... Then last night I went to work on it. 3 of them came out with no problem! How nice! Then of course there is alaways the one that is a pain in the butt! It ended up breaking off the remover!!! OH NO! And of couse those things are so hard and cant really be drilled out... So I drilled all around it and finally got it out. Thoght I might end up drilling the head of the bolt off... But i created a big hole in head. But I was able to get a screw driver in there and it finally came out. Then I took and sprayed down the door and it works like a charm(worn out charm but none the less) Much better! I guess the moral of the story is rust sucks. It can be stronger than welds!

I've always hated those screws. I usually end up drilling the head off, and gripping the remains with vice grips and backing them out. Just make sure to put anti-seize compound on the screws that you get to go back in there.

 This is a pic of the bolt messed up, notice the fuel hose I have set up as a door stop. The top hinge is rusted out pretty bad.  Closer pic  The new bolts I used. They are allen head bolts. Lets see those things strip out with a stinkin screw driver... LOL I win sucker. And I used gold washers... LOL
