timing tab problem solved

saw these on a web site I have a 8 inch Balancer must have 6-7 inch tab maybe? the 1st is a 6-7 second is the 8 inch Jack

Let me guess: Your mark comes to far to the left to show timing. If so, you're right. I just got a timing tab myself- had no tab at all! My 6 3/4" balancer uses a tab that's positioned just about over the top of the balancer. I believe the 8" uses one positioned to your right as you face the engine.
