Posting Pics - Have to be on web??

OK - I want to post a couple pics of my truck. Do the pics have to be on the web? It says so in the FAQ so I would guess that they do, just thought I would ask in case there is a way to do it without them being on the web first.

when you are done typing your message just go down t the attach file part down below your reply. Browse for your pic on your computer, then add it. It will add it to your post. Hope this helps!!!
Shawn

BTW if you hit preview post I don't think it shows the pic, and you have to re add the pic before you submit the post.

Shawn,

Your pics don't have to be on a web site to be able to post them here. As long as they are the correct size you can add them to your posts, like Jorgensen says.

To get then the right size is killing more of my brain cells then the alcohol abuse!

The easiest way must be to set the camera so the pic is taken at a low resolution! That way the file size is like 30mb in stead of 380mb!??????
I think?

I know photo shop will do it; but i haven't found that software yet!

Any ideas????????

I would not take the pics at a lower resolution, you have better quality and detail at higher res and you can do more with the pics that way. If you take a low res pic and then reduce it's size you lose clarity, cuz it wasn't really there.

I use Ulead PhotoImpact and it's super easy. You could email them to me and I could resize them if you want.

Each software is going to do it a little different, it's hard to explain what you should do without knowing the software.
