Quadrajet Choke Question
I have quadrajet 7041211 that is torn down for rebuilding. In the attached picture of the choke bracket the spring does not seem to do anything. Where should the end of the spring connect? Hope this makes sense to someone.

The spring should have a loose end with a hook-like bend on the end. That hook-like bend should be engaged with that slot hole in the plunger "rod".
