Going to pick up my pickup tommorow
Ive been waiting for a month to actually go pick it up from my dads which is about 3 hours away, but im going tommorow. Its been sitting for over 2 years and it fired right up when I was up there last but it had 0 brakes so im going to have to take some parts and tools with me. Anyway, when I get it back ill try to post some pics. Its going to be a big project. First thing (when I get some $) is a cab cause I dont think anything can be done with the one thats there not having roof skins avalible for these trucks. This truck is 95% of whats been on my mind for 4 weeks so im pretty xcited.

Picked it up this weekend. Made the trip back home ok. The needle valve stuck open on me a couple times and flooded it out 3 different times. Other than that it was pretty smooth. Ill get some pictures together soon to post.

I can't get the links to work - gets a "You don't have permission to access /photos on this server" message.
Where in Chattanooga do you live? I live between Ringgold and Tunnel Hill.

Thanks. My grandfather bought it new in 70, gave it to my dad in 80, dad gave it to me 05. As soon as I get the motor paid off that im buying for it im going to be looking hard for a cab. The only metal thats saveable on it is the fenders and hood. Im going to have to work with the bed for a while, plan on getting a spray in liner until I have the $2000 its going to take to replace all the bed pieces with new metal.
