Steering wheel removal
I am in the process of converting the steering column to a hydro/auto shifter in my 1951 3600 pickup. I need to remove the steering wheel in order to install all of the shifterclamps, indicator, shifter shaft , etc. I want to keep my stock steering wheel and I dont want to damage it removing it - I have never even had the horn button off- I dont want to hurt it either . I want it to look as stock / original as it can. Any one done this - that way i dont mess something up because I didnt simply ask. So I am asking
Thanks LMD |

Re: Steering wheel removal
horn button just pops off and then use a steering wheel puller ,thats how i do it or sometimes you luck out and the steering wheel will just pop off by baning it with your hands witch is rare ..lol
