Header / alt. bracket problem 67 c10

Hello all.

I just purchased a 67 c10 with the original 283 and I was going to order a set of headers for it. However I noticed, much to my dismay, that I will no longer have a way to hook up my altanator bracket, as the current one bolts into the front end of the drivers side exhaust manafold! Does anybody have any experience whith this switch? My pops got a 68 and I put a set of headers on it no problem but it mounts differantly (his has a 350). Anyway I thought maybe you could point me in the direction of a place that sells a bracket for this conversion or?

Thank you.

Here they are from Summit Racing. You'll need them both.

Re: Header / alt. bracket problem 67 c10

No Problem. I had to have them and the board members helped me. I bought them both at a Pep Boys Sat. But paid way more than Summit. Summit has them for about $6 ea. I think if you go to their site, they have Hooker or Hedman brand in black but you will pay for the name.

BTW welcome from N Texas.

Alt bracket and arm from a 72 V8 will work also.
You can pick them up a swap meets for around $25.00.
