1972 for $150 worth it?
My buddy has a 1972 c-10 and yesterday I offered him $150 for it and he said ok he'll take it whenever I get the money. My question is, is it worth it? It would need a new bed and cad repair. It has a 250 I6 with a 3 on the tree. It runs great, very dependaple, It has been sitting for about a month and I was goofing around cause the keys were in it and it fired right up! i don't have the cash now, but I wanna buy it and part it out or see how much I can get for it. Like I said it would need a new bed and other body work but it is very dependable. Just wanted to see what you all would do, thanks
Cody

I wouldn't buy it if I were you. Just give me your friends number, and I'll dispose of the truck for him

I paid $100 for my '72. But it didn't run and it was sunk into the ground up to the frame and covered with branches. But it is almost rust free and has a 350/350 turbo. And it was my dad's truck 20 years ago.
Enough with my rambling, $150 is a steal!

I would have to say yes. Even if you plan to part it out, I'm sure you can find at least $150 worth of parts on it. Heck, I'll give you $200 for it. LOL
