I finally work on the truck for the first time in months, and the panhard bar won't come loose at the frame end. So I try and try, still no luck. I decide to heat it up good to get the bolt to come out of the bushing. Nothing is working, so I decide I'll just cut it off, right. Well just my freaking luck I run out of Oxygen about 1/3 of the way thru it. So for giggles I hit it with the air hammer and the little $%#*^^$$%*$$$^%$*$(&$( comes right out. Now I need a new panhard bar. Wish it would have just come out before!!! Oh well, one more thing to buy, right. Just had to vent.

sounds like my luck. i now stop working when things fight me. took many years and thousands of dollars of broken stuff but even a dumass like me can learn

I've learned over the years that a can of anti sieze is a good investment. I never have had problems since when I have to take something loose again.

Had another good experience tonight, so I've stopped working for now. I had the frame up on it's side to get at the panhard bar, so I decided to get the angle grinder out and do some sanding. Well all was going fine until I turned around to see a huge orange flame shooting out of my forced air heater. Forgot that rust dust is flamable. That was my sign to stop for the night. Maybe I'll just wait and have it sandblasted. Hope to get my "new", fixable cab this week. Needs rockers, corners, floors, and front supports, but it's a lot better than the one I cut off. This one can be saved. Huh, there goes all my extra xmas bonus money. I thought I had too much in my checking account. Oh well.

I removed an old bumper today, and insted of all the bolts being the same, ONE freakin bold was not just smaller, but the dope smokin old man that put it together USED A $@*%ing METRIC BOLT.....that one bolt took me 30 $&@*ing MINUTES to figure out and get off. I dont have any power tools or I would of cut the B!T*C off. Oh well brand new chrome and new american 1/2" bolts are going on.
