Bed wood
Got a ways to go before I can start this but I could use some tips as to source, type of wood, type of strips, means of attachment (hidden/not) and finish. I've priced at LMC, Brothers and Mar-K--so far Mar-K seems best in terms of quality/price. Its going on my 1970 C10 lwb stepper. You all always steer me right.

Re: Bed wood
Have you checked Horkey's? They're good people. Don't think they're a vendor on here though. Usually try and support forum vendors first. Just my $.02

Re: Bed wood
If you have the equipment, it's easy to cut your own. The GM specs are on GMCPauls website. Here's mine .. I have $157 in the whole thing, including the SPAR varnish. (there's more ..) .. these are just a couple of the pieces.
BTW -- Northern Red Oak, no stain, 4 coats of SPAR and sanded to 600 between coats. They turned out really good.
