Does anyone have a picture of how you installed the screen for catching leaves under the cowl from the backside? Did you silicone it there, or just lay it there and tighten the screws up against it? Any pictures would be very helpful - thanks.

I got mine from LMC. It had tabs on there that sandwiched between the cowl and the cab. I wanted something that was quick and painless. Sorry, I don't have any pics of this.

I got mine from LMC as well. Got lazy and didn't want to rig something up.

It comes in two pieces. Pretty self-explanatory, easy to install. Silicone is not necessary.

I used plain 'ol aluminum screen for home windows. I cut it, formed it to the inside and put aluminum tape and 3M spray adhesive to hold it in place. Cheaper and very durable.

I too found some black fiberglass window screen that was 72" wide at the local hardware store and just epoxied it in place. Around here that's a better solution than the LMC screens due to all the pine needles and evergreen 'leaves'.

I did mine from Gutter Guard screening from Lowes. I think I paid about $10.

It's flexible, durable and easy to cut to fit with scissors. I cut it so that it overlapped and just placed the cowl on top to hold it in place. Have enough left over for my 68 GMC and more.

I heard the only problem is if you have small pine needles around your area it may not keep them all out.

I got SS ones from Tim Christian. I used plastic zip ties to
hold them in place until the screws went into the tabs

Then I just cut the zip ties after I bolted it all in place

Someone ask for pic's?

Perfect - that's what I was looking for. Stainless make a lot of sense, but I am going the cheapie route for now, with OSH screen, and I'll paint it black (my truck is black)

Just used some wire mesh. Keeps all the pine needles out. Those things get through everything.

Well I finally found the pictures I took. I did the Lowes screen porch route. I had it left over from the back porch project.

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
