Banjo Bolt and Fitting Question

I bought a front IFS kit from Fatman Fabrications that came with disc brakes. The braided hoses they sent me have a banjo fitting on one end that a 7/16 banjo bolt from my stock brakes will fit in. The new callipers take a 10mm banjo bolt. I called them and told them this and they said that thats the only hose they carry and it works fine. When I hooked up the lines I'm getting a leak at the banjo to calliper fitting. There seems to be a lot of play between the 10mm bolt and fitting. Is this whats causing my leak? I have copper washers on top and bottom and it leaks no matter how tight I go with it.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Banjo Bolt and Fitting Question

you should have no slop between the bolt and hose end. a 10mm should fit not tight but drop in with little play. if you have the right hoses and bolts then you have the wrong caliper. A 10 mm is not even close enough to fudge it with copper washers. It is most definately why your leaking and don't drive it till you get the proper fitting bolt/caliper/hose combination figured out. you will also need new coppers.
