Re: summit headers

those look to be the long tube headers. and judging from your truck in the avatar it looks as if your truck is lowered. if I am correct then the long tube headers drag lower then the frame.

Re: summit headers

You would have to go with shorty or mid-length headers for the clearance if your truck is lowered as Jeff said.

Re: summit headers

I think that FloTech makes them. Check out (compare) the part numbers...

Re: summit headers

i had a cheap set i bought from autozone on my 69 years ago. after driving for a while no matter what i did they would not seal, i think the mounting flange was too thin and warped. id save for a good set if possible.

What if you engine is moved forward - was a 250L used small block mounts and 83 front crossmember? 83 headers I have don't fit.

Re: summit headers

My trucks not lowered, but I just put a set of these on my trucks, 1-2 months ago, no problems. They do hang a little lower then the cross member though

Re: summit headers

I have a set of Flowtech ceramic coated that I just took off my truck because I am switching over to an LS3. My truck was lowered and the headers did hang low but I never bottomed out. Selling headers for $125.00 and I also have a 2-1/2" Stainless steel exhaust with X-pipe and polished mufflers for sale
