Casting numbers?
Hey guys,I did a search but couldn't come up with a site that would let me enter my casting number in. It didn't match any of the charts I found either.
the numbers from what i could tell are: 143 13 287? could also be 148 18 287. The numbers aren't the best looking 3's look like eights and so on. I wire wheeled them pretty good but they're still hard to read. Maybe you guys have similar ones or know a site where I can just plug those numbers in? Thanks a lot |

Re: Casting numbers?
I found what the number probably is: I found 140 10 207 at the nasty z28 site. at least it says its a 350 lol So the guy I bought the motor from wasn't lying.

Re: Casting numbers?
It should have 5.7 LG cast into the block by that number back by the bell housing on the drivers side. I have 2 of these blocks, they are both 4 bolts. They are a little lighter casting than the earlier 010 blocks.

plugged the numbers in here(link shown) that you thought they might be and turned up nothing, the 140 10 207 description was accurate though
