Heater Hose fittings - help
The PO blocked off the opening that ran from the engine to the heater core as well as the opening that ran from the waterpump to the heater core.
I installed a new heatercore but I don't know what fittings to install on the engine and waterpump so I can connect the hoses. Does someone have a part number or at least what they are called so I can try to find that right part? Thanks Gf |

Re: Heater Hose fittings - help
You can get the heater hose fittings at Napa. They are both the same . The part # is BK6601528 for the fittings. Do you have factory air? If it does it should have a heat control valve in line . It is # BK660161 Hope this helps.

Re: Heater Hose fittings - help
I thought one fitting was 3/4"; and one fitting was 5/8", dunno. Check your oulets on the heater core for size

Re: Heater Hose fittings - help
Thanks for the help...heater core in and now moving to the next project.
Body mounts...Two things need to happen to get this project done 1) Need to fab something for one of the rear mounts as it is pretty rusted. 2) Need to determine poly or rubber. (seems to be be a big debate on here)....also don't know a good supplier of either..... recommendations are welcome

Re: Heater Hose fittings - help
Check out the guys that part out these trucks in the mid west, they may be able to help you with the mount.....hard part is going to be removing the rivets, but there are several ways to do it
What sort of collection of tools do you have?
