WTB A/C firewall cut out
I need a very nicely cut out passenger side firewall section with a/c. Let me know what you have. May be able to use a US address in Montana. Thanks, Rod.

Re: WTB A/C firewall cut out
I have a '70 3/4 ton AC cab I am parting. Looks as if the firewall AC section is good with no rust or scale. Not sure but I think the 67-72 AC cab sections are all the same? $20 plus shipping? How big a piece do you need?

Re: WTB A/C firewall cut out
Sounds good, will look for the picture of the size and area you need. Can cut it out with my sawzall, jigsaw or what ever works to get a good, smooth edge. Forgot to add if it makes a difference, I don't have a Paypal account. Money orders or $$ only, an identity theft several years ago makes me shy away from Paypal, LOL

Re: WTB A/C firewall cut out
I borrowed the pictures from another thread. I need the pieces circled. I am putting a new floor into a cab with a high hump and the floor is low hump so I need the piece to weld in. I just need the firewall piece like the piece shown that is cut out already. If possible cut out from behind the firewall where the spot welds are so I can drill them from the back side. please post a picture of the intermediate shaft as well and let me know a total. Thanks, Rod.

Re: WTB A/C firewall cut out
if your toe bard is good in this area I could use some of this as well as mine is a little thinner than I thought closer to the kick panel.

Re: WTB A/C firewall cut out
Took a couple pics in between the rains we've been getting. Ground is getting a bit mushy,
Looks as if all the metal your wanting is good solid metal with just surface scale. The intermediate shaft also looks good with just surface scale. Took a look at the toe board and it also seems good solid metal with surface scale. Thinking I can sawzall between the A/C panel and the cowl section at the top where the cowl overlaps the firewall, down the side to the bottom of the toe board and then across to the toe board channel brace and then back to the top. A fair amount of cutting and maybe even a few broken blades but pretty sure it is do-able. Don't think the trans tunnel section will be a problem. Would you want the A/C panel and the toe board section to remain intact or cut it to box and ship easier? Want any of the toe board channel stiffener other than what would remain after the cut. Truck is to far from my shop to use a compressor and air tools, darn it. Poor planning on my part there, huh? $75 plus shipping sound fair for the shaft, trans tunnel section, toe board and A/C panel sections? As you mentioned a shipping address in Montana would be much lower shipping cost than to Canada. If $75 plus shipping is good for you let me know and I can get started with the cutting. May take a couple days as we are fore casted for rain off and on thru Tues.

That price is fair. I just sent my body man a text and asked him what he prefers. I'll get back to you asap.

Re: WTB A/C firewall cut out
here is what I need. if you could cut them just on the other side of the curve up the firewall in the center that would be great. I don't think ill be needing the whole sections of these but you never know when its blasted. let me know a total shipped to the Montana zip as soon as you know. Thanks, Rod.
