_ 1:87 Scale Chevy C-10 SWB Fleetside AutoDriveŽ USB flash drive!
1 left!
For no more than the cost of a plain old flash drive to stick in your pocket, there's no need to settle when you can own an AutoDrive™. 1969 1:87 scale C-10 fleetside pickup with USB flash drive built in. Transport music, photos, and other files between computers by popping them onto this flash drive via the USB port (USB 2.0 and 1.1 compatible). For fans of the 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972 Chevy and GMC pickup trucks, Blazers, and Jimmys, this flash drive makes a great novelty gift. ) Black 1GB AutoDrive $20.00 + $1.82 shipping I can do Paypal or check/mo by mail.

Just posting a bump for Kenneth. I bought 1 from him of the later 99-02 style. Works great and a great conversation piece. Always a good seller and easily contacted.

I don't have any stepsides made, but I have all the materials. Color choices are red, gold, green, and I can do either 1GB or 2GB capacity.
1GB red is $20 + $1.82 shipping 2GB red is $25 + $1.82 shipping gold or green, add $2 Let me know.

black 1:87 fleetside (see pictures in first post), which is smaller than a Hot Wheels red, lime green, purple, or gold Hot Wheels-based stepsides. <== because of Hot Wheels' very limited run of purple and gold, I had to pay more for those cars, and so I'm going to pass that extra cost onto you. Like red? I've got plenty of red ones (thanks, Wes!). As for memory capacity, again, due to certain engineering limitations, I can only do 1GB and 2GB, but am working to be able to scale into the 4GB and 8GB size eventually (eventually = when I have time, which isn't very much ). As a side note on size, unless you KNOW you need more space, you'll be surprised how versatile even the 1GB Autodrive is. It will hold more data than a CD ROM (which are ~700MB capacity). My personal Autodrive, which I carry in my pocket daily, is actually only a 128MB drive, and I have only ever hit capacity once... at which point, I realized there was a bunch of stuff on there I didn't really need, so I deleted those files and gained the space I need. Just something to think about. Also... I have LIMITED quantity of flash part chips on hand, and (again, due to time, etc.), it may be some time before I can build up enough to make it worth ordering more. For those of you a little flexible on color and bedside... the 2 black fleetsides listed in my OP may be the way to go. They're built, packaged in display cases, and ready to ship. 1GB black fleet or red step = $20 + $1.82 shipping 2GB above = $25 + $1.82 shipping add $5 to either of the above for green add $7 to either of the above for purple or gold If you've already got a green, gold, or purple one you want me to convert, you can ship it to me and I'll build for the 'base prices' above. As for painting custom colors, I've done that on a few, and it's simply not cost-effective. When I tell you it'll cost you an additional $40 to paint one of the above (time and materials-- mostly time!), the value proposition of a $65 flash drive wears off pretty quickly. So, I've decided to go with what the car manufacturer gives me. PM sent.

Re: _ 1:87 Scale Chevy C-10 SWB Fleetside AutoDriveŽ USB flash drive!
To all, my sincerest apologies to special-K... he sent payment, but I claimed I never got it. After a number of PMs, and him going through the effort of tracing the USPS MO, he was able to show that someone had indeed cashed the money order back in May. The USPS provided him with a copy of the MO and it turns out, based on the endorsement on the back, that someone was ME! For the hassle, my assertion that I hadn't received it, and for the delay, I sincerely apologize. I have already packaged up the AutoDrive, sent him the tracking info, and am headed to the store to pick up some crow for dinner...
For those thinking about one of these flash drives, the last 1GB unit is a black fleetside as pictured in the OP. I have only one of these, and no immediate source for any more 1GB flash parts. I can still build 2GB units, and have now sourced parts to make a 4GB unit. 8GB is still in the works. Just an fyi... I've carried a flash drive for about 5 years... and I'm still using a 128MB unit (that's 1/8th of 1GB) and I've only ever filled it up a couple of times... so don't think you need high capacity unless you actually know you need high capacity.

None made up at this time. The green is the standard Hot Wheels lime green. If you're interested in one, PM and we can discuss there.

dazza, I bought a green step side from XXL a few years ago. It has worked great. Here is a crappy cell phone picture to give you an idea. I am sure XXL will confirm whether or not this is the green step side that he can make.
