Look at trim rings.
What do you folks think of the trim rings? The white truck will be parted in the spring.

I would say no trim rings looks best, original I guess. I can't hardly see the white on the rim with the trim rings on. Might look better out in the sun though.

There is not enough contrast with the trim ring/ hubcap set up and the white rims for it to look good. The idea is good, just wrong color combination.

I've always liked rings and no caps, but I think that truck would look sharp with no rings and copper bowties.

What color do you all think would look best? Could i photo shop different colors? Hey Yooper truck where is Rudyard? The white seems kind of washed out.

no rings. looks best with black tire - white wheel - PO3 cap. However, the paint or pc is probably trashed already by just installing a ring to compare. Rings trash the paint. If you're always gonna have rings, then no problema, the scratches won't show. Even if you keep rings, I'd still keep the wheels white. Matching copper too much of a departure from stock - let the black that you will eventually paint in the caps provide contrast, not the wheel. I think the PO3 caps look best bone stock on the wheel/tire combo. Gorgeous truck btw. If you didn't have the cowl hood, I'd be beggin ya to keep the wheels stock looking - BUT, you do have a slight custom look, so trim rings would be just fine if that's the direction you want to go with it.

I'm not a big trim ring fan.
Even my old 99 I ditched the chrome rings and centercaps and went to just a black centercap.

The wheels are7X16 ford. I sand blasted them and painted them white. To see what they would look like. The tires are junk. Only on there to move the truck around. I can reblast the wheels to remove scratches when i install the new tires. The wheels seem to narrow at seven inches. The wider 9.25X16.5 chevy wheels look better i think. Just not alot of choice in tires.
