How common/rare 4 speed 2wd Blazers?
Any idea what percentage of the 1970-72 blazers were 4 speed manual trucks?
My 72 2wd originally had the SM465 and I'm debating whether to go back to stock or upgrade to LSx motor/auto trans... |

Re: How common/rare 4 speed 2wd Blazers?
You aren't going to get that specific of a breakdown. The book I have might list the percentage of all 72 trucks with a 4 spd but that's about it.
IMO it depends on what the rest of the truck looks like, if it's all ready been restored or repainted a different color then it is easier to say do what you want with it. If it's a survivor in decent condition I would think to keep it living it's life as it was meant to be.

LSx & 6 speed .... that would be fun in a 2wd; especially since you already have the clutch pedal there!
