Re: South american trucks

I used to live in Brazil. I took photos of the front and rear 3/4 views and they're around here somewhere. I'll scan and post 'em when I find where they went.
They also made Suburban versions, and most were converted into mobile advertising platforms with a generator in the back and a rack full of speakers on top.

Re: South american trucks

Found and scanned.

This one is a shop truck in the Sao Paulo area that runs on CNG:

I like the split rear bumper and the fact that it had all of its original hubcaps.

Next are those Veraneios I had mentioned, the Suburban styled vehicles. Here's a local fleet of them. It is pointless to try and hold a conversation when one drives by your house.

Here's one for you diehard Chevy fans. It is a Chevrolet Bonanza. Go ahead, disbelieve all you want, but I tell you there is a Chevy bowtie on the grille. Now you know what happens when car companies are done with their old tools and dies.

Anyone else ever see GMT400 platform trucks with straight sixes under the hood on a daily basis? I did and they were all over the place, not a V8 to be seen for miles.

The guys on the Inliners board are hot
for South American L6 speed
parts.
Heads, intakes, 750 CFM Q-jets on a 292 because they're pushing ethanol.
