what length shocks to use

Not sure what length KYB shocks to use. My blazer is lowered front and back not sure how much and the shocks in the front are the wrong size. The stem in the shock only sticks out about 3 inches. How can I figure out the length so I can buy the correct shock.

my truck is lowwer 3' in the front . kyb told me to use the 84-87 crovette rear shock . they 9 1/2' nat full compress . see if this helps .
