I have 3 sets of gears for a chevy rear end. I would like to know where to find out what size and ratio they are. Can anyone recommend a site or be able to tell me what these are. Id like to sell them on ebay if they are worth anything. the GM part number is 12479316. thanks, mike

Re: Part # Question
I`ll check that number in my parts book. But,the ratio should be on the ring gear.It will be the number of teeth on ring:number of teeth on pinion.Divide these numbers to come out with ratio numbers.I`d like to buy a 3.08 set in excellant condition if the price is below new cost enough.I`ll check that part# tonight.
