history of my truck !!
Hi guy's,
I've a look in the shop manual of my C10 (it's a 1970 short bed). I've found those pictures. does someone know where he is ? I think it's in Florida, because the dragway ticket was printed in Orlando Speedway. could be nice to know US owner of my truck ; i think it was imported in Belgium about 5 years ago. have a look and try to make me know ! thanks details : 350ci with Edelbrock cylinder heads - 4in1 and Galsspack. Boyds wheels.

Re: history of my truck !!
I love mysteries
If the timing ticket from the drag strip is from the truck in the photo, that is impressive. The photo with the truck looks like it could have been taken in the late 80's early 90's. Not sure it is in florida. There are no palm trees in the photo and the truck has some nice rot on the tail gate. The other clue as to the age of the photo is the man on the phone is not on a cell phone. The phone he is on has a cord attached to it. No plate on the truck does not help. The car in the background appears to be a mid 80's GM car such as a Monte Carlo. The quater window on it looks like it is broken and someone taped something over it. Good Luck with your search |

The ticket is computer generated and has two car numbers on it, you might contact the dragway and see if they might still have the info from the car numbers.
Have you put the VIN in Google? You never know. |

Re: history of my truck !!
you're probably right regarding the state where was taken the picture.
I think that the drag ticket came from the C10, because when I changed the rear differential, specialist who did it said that The fixations of the back axle were half torn away by strong accelerations. He unsoldered them then put back correctly. Perhaps US owner is a fan of C10 ; so I hope he (or friends of him) will read this thread.

Re: history of my truck !!
I know that pick up was owned by Renaud MARIOTTI - Aventura - FL from 2007 to 2009.

Re: history of my truck !!
I know the track, they don't keep records and probably didn't know the owner back then. The ticket is a dead end unless the guy in the pic or his buddies see this post. The house is probably in Florida and probably not far from the track. The windows on the house are called jealousies (jal-o-see) and are common here on old clap-board homes. That area looks like Biflo, FL.
Good luck with your search. Posted via Mobile Device
