Well I'm down south now and it's quite the opposite from what I was used to. Usually could pick up motors dirt cheap in IL, but they're quite a bit higher here. So it's the same for all of us isn't it? Depending on where you're at.

My truck was free, rust free and complete. Those are way over priced.

Re: I had no idea they are worth this much!!!

It's high, but worth every penny. If someone just wanted one that they wanted to slap wheels and suspension on and be done, this would be a good truck to get. I saw it in person. Needs a seat cover and that's about it. Straight as a pin, never been wrecked. I would have bought it, but I still would have put 10 k in it on top of that, so it wouldnt have done me much good.

Re: I had no idea they are worth this much!!!

Had a guy down here buy a 76 1/2 Sierra Classic had some rust near the front drivers fender but he said it does not leak and started right up. He also paid $750.00 for it.

Must be one of the lowest mile suburbans around ....good color combo as well....15000.00 sound like a lot until you start doing a full restoration....and they are only original once.

Well rust free would be expensive here too, suppose mmaybe that much but i duno.i've bought a few rotten trucks @$500.for the engine.even thats expensive but yer gettin a 350!thats what i paid for my 1978 burb.$600 for my 87 4X4,but i did both rear wheel openings/inside n out and front end.The now "88"gold burb was $4000.Now my 78 jimmy $3250.but it's all relative to what you want, and want to pay for

Re: I had no idea they are worth this much!!!

That price is actually not too far off from what it should sell for. If it's actually as stated, all you would need is a suspension, and maybe wheels and you got a sweet looking ride, with no build time, and it's just like brand new.

Re: I had no idea they are worth this much!!!

Who cares what someone else wants for their truck. First its theirs. 2nd they dont make these trucks new so if someone wants that perticular vehicle, well they will have to pay what he wants or negiotate. simple... but its funny how people poke fun about what others are selling for how much...
