Finger update

Went to the doc today and had the pins taken out of my fingers. Man, what fun that was.

Anyway, I have to start occupational therapy next week. He said I would probably be out of work for another 4 to 6 weeks. Sure sucks because I'm about to go stir crazy.

I'm through whining now.

At least you are on the road to recovery, the hard (and painful) part is over.

Glad to hear you are doing well Mike.

Blue,

I broke my ring finger and little finger on my right hand at work. A piece I was cutting on a table saw kicked out on me. It also dislocated my middle finger too. I had two pins in each finger.

Glad to see you making some progress Mike. Hopefully rehab won't be that bad. Look at like this, just in time for summer..

Glad to hear you're recovering Mike.

Something like this might be worth investing in.

Sorry to hear about your accident Mike. I wish you a speedy recovery.

I was doing the biggest tile job of my career last month when I went outside to rinse out a couple of buckets, I stepped in a hole and ended up tearing the ligiments in my right ankle (for the 3rd time). I was only off for a week or so but lost a lot of the work to another tile setter because the job had to be done right away.

You ever notice that the older we get, the longer it takes to heal?

Heal up quick buddy

Regards
Red

Hi Mike. Things are good there with the usual stuff we have to deal with. I've got Smokey and Dee Dee coming up for our big local show here which is also an official CT event this year with the banner and all. It should be a good time. Especially when we do the BBQ/Party at my house on June 12. Dee was up for last years show along with a few other members. Here's a link with some pics from last year.

Take care of those fingers buddy.

Mark

It's good you are doing better . Injuries and healing take patience and the older you get the harder it gets .

Hope you feel better. After putting my tranny in, I'm bleeding from just about everywhere.

Ya Jeremy, I still have it but for the most part it's been parked. I picked up a new toy last May that has taken up quite a bit of my time. I haven't even had time to work on my 55 since I picked this project up.

I've also picked up another truck from a guy I did some tile work for but I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it yet. Looks can be deceiving though. It has a 402 BBC under the hood.

Too many projects and not enough time and cash.
