Water comming in under the dash

Ive been having to use the Burb the past couple days after our Toyota was crunched by a semi on our way to Texas last month. So, Ive had to drive it in the rain a couple times. I have water running in on both sides INSIDE of my truck under the dash. Where the heck is it comming in at? Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks

Bad gasket around windsheild. Comes in the lower corner then drips down through the drip hole on each side of the dash. You can seal the gasket up with a good sealer but a good windsheild man want need to!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Water comming in under the dash

I had 2 pinholes, actually bigger than pinholes, in the cowl floor from leaves sitting in the cowl. Found them one day working under the dash looking up and saw 2 streams of sunlight coming in. Sanded them down, but couldn't get tig torch in to weld. I used some of my sticky sound deadening on the inside of cab to seal up temporarily. Works so far ( 1 year). On another note, why do our dashes have drip holes on each side?

Re: Water comming in under the dash

I would first take the cowl off and look under there. I bet thats where its at.

The way I test is I get someone to lay in the floor and I fill the cowl with water and see if it leaks.....It may take a while.....if I dont see any water I then broaden my water placement to the top of the windshield and let it run down. If it starts to leak its the gasket.

Re: Water comming in under the dash

Thanks guys, figured it might be the cowl, but I just got it out of the shop and any rust holes were "supposed" to be fixed, but then so were a lot of other things. Also, Their glass guy broke my windshield putting it back in, (HE broke it and charged ME for a new one),so mabey Mr. Professionalglassguy didnt seal it good. Ill try 72freaks system.

THANKS!!!!!
