Please show me these bumper bracket covers installed

Who has pictures showing installation of these bumper bracket covers? I have never seen them before, and would like to see what they look like when installed. I know Brother's sells them, as probably others do too. I tried to search, but was unsuccessful. Just curious. Thanks.

Re: Please show me these bumper bracket covers installed

I have them on my truck but you can't really see them with the bumper on the truck. They bolt through two hole in the bumper brackets with 5/16 bolts.

Don't take this wrong… but what purpose do they serve, if you can't even see them? I thought the idea was to hide the bumper brackets. Since I've never seen them before, I don't know. Still confused. Thanks for the reply though.

I think they are a "splash shield" ? If you search bumpers you might find a pic on a bumper or a set of brackets

Re: Please show me these bumper bracket covers installed

I would go with the splash theory as they are behind the rear tires and there is only about a 1 inch gap between the bumper and truck which they block off. they bolt to the top of the brackets. If you go to the LMC site you can see the holes in the brackets.

"Splash Shield". That's the ticket! Thanks Mike. Here's what I found. You learn something new every day. I love this site.
