i need a radiator for my 68 lwb. small block 700r4 no power anything! i'm going junkin' what radiators interchange with 67-72s?

none that I know of directly. The 73 - 87 models has one that is real close. The lower water neck needs to be removed from your old one and brazed onto the later one. The water neck on ours angles up due to the frame, while the newer ones go straight out.

be carefull though, there are 2 core sizes for the 73 - 87... one of them is about 2 to 3 inches too tall.
Bummer I can't remember the sizes huh? The vans also have one that needs the same mods. On either one, you'll need to rebend the tranny cooler lines (if aplicable) toreach the cooler fittings. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 04-05-2008 at 06:23 AM. |
