Lets see what you have, any change that you've made post it, dashpad, guages, door panels, seats, any change at all. I'm trying to get ideas for cool interior mods

Re: 67-72 interior mod pics

I'm running these 72 door panels on my 70. Used SEM products, here is before and after pics. With a little imagination you can do about anything you want with these.

I like this idea, when I redo mine I'm doing black and red. I think it will look good with black door panels and red armrest and accents

Mind you this is still very much "under construction", but you can get the gist of where I'm headed.

1963 Chevy II Dash

Running this cluster for now....when more $$ comes I'll swap out for a new set of full gauges.

Picked up these mid 90's lowback buckets....had to cut down the bases and will get them covered in something that contrasts the as yet decided paint color.

Also going to fab up a sheet-metal (steel & aluminum) full length console to house AC controls, 5-speed shifter, a couple cup holders and an armrest/storage box....maybe integrate this bad boy somehow

TDP67, Where is that headliner from? How is the sound? It seems like it would be really loud in your ears. Interesting idea though.

I have seen those headliners before but always wondered about the sound myself.

It was in mine when I bought it. The speakers were crap so I installed some new ones. It sounds really great. With the sub and amp under the seat, and the kicker speakers, it rocks!

Good to know... I've been looking at these forever but was scared to put the cash down on one without knowing if it sounded good. the PO of my '69 butchered the dash to put a set of gauges in the radio location that they never could get to fit, and that headliner would fit the bill for me perfectly.

There are several styles to choose from. They come installed in the panel.

Re: 67-72 interior mod pics

tdp67 you have my sound system! Lol jk, I've always wanted two low pro square kicker 10's in my truck under the seats, that same headliner with some good speakers, a good amp and one of those stock looking radios that has modern functions and a cd changer

I went with a more modern radio. The retro look ones are mostly crap I found.

X3 on the headliner! I've seen them before in catalogs but always wondered how they looked installed, and how they sound. Looks like the speakers hang down kind of far and your head might bump them. And how hard was it to install? Very nice, clean, and simple interior in your truck by the way. Joseph

Re: 67-72 interior mod pics

I remember LMC making a headliner like that but i dont believe it was that nice and with that headliner and a quality set of speakers I think it would have great sound.
