454 Valve Cover Options w/AC

Ive got a 1984 K30 with the 454. It has factory ac, which I like.

I would love to run the tall Moroso stamped gold valve covers, but I'm sure it wont work with stock AC. Does Moroso offer a short style valve cover that is stamped with the 'MOROSO' logo in it?

I checked there the other day. Nothing. I didnt know if anyone had ever seen anything for resale or used items. So hard to find good looking non chrome short valve covers.

I always end up keeping the stock valve covers with a nice paint job and a little detailing. They are the only ones that don't seem to leak. Chrome are the worst. Nothing fancy here on my 68 gmc

I agree. I went through chrome and aluminum valve covers left and right. Used quality gaskets and sealers and they still leaked. Repainted the stock ones and problem solved.

My bbc stock valve covers required metal core valve cover gaskets and spreader bars to stop leaking.
