Heat Control Cable Clip
Greetings,
Drove the truck today. It was 40-degrees when I left to pick up the new snow tires for my DD-car. Anyway, went to move the heat lever, and I could feel it slip off the door. I was able to manually open the heat door, (good thing). As I recall I found a clip at the local hardware that I thought would work. Guess I was wrong. Went looking at several online shops but cannot find the clip. Anyone know were to get this? Thanks

I would check the local hardware stores as the local Ace Hardware here has an assortment of the clips which includes the size you need.

Most of the after market places have them but not always in the catalog or findable online. It's an odd size, I have not found they at hardware stores. I have gotten them from the truck shop in Orange California, call them.

Maybe measure the post that the cable mounts to and find the oldest hardware store in your area and they will more than likely have the size press nut you need or something you could make work. Good luck, Pat

These are the same, they are reproduced for first gen Camaro. I have a pile of NOS ones too in correct black finish (pic #2).
