Craigslist Blazer in Colorado

Saw this and talk with the owner he told me there was one ahead of me on purchasing it. They ended up pulling the trigger and buying it. Just wanted if it was someone on the forum . If so that was a sweet deal congratulations ! I'd love to see more pictures of it and your plans you got towards it ....

Re: Craigslist Blazer in Colorado

I'm in Colorado and check craigslist almost daily for Blazers, but didn't see this one. I wouldn't be surprised if one of our local car flippers didn't buy it in hopes of reselling on Ebay for a profit. The company buys and flips a ton of classic 4x4s. I'm not opposed to their business model, but I hope someone who is going to keep it got the chance to buy it as it looks like a clean truck.

Re: Craigslist Blazer in Colorado

Sad day for me was on vacation in California saw this and looked on map quest
Said it was a 12 hour drive from where I was. Guy said he had a guy looking at it which was reason enough to get closer to it. I rented a car and told my wife come on we're going to LasVagas baby. Waited on my turn to go see it. Well you know the rest of the story. Sad day for me but my wife loved Vagas I just couldn't I joy it much. Went to see pawn stars location went to Counts Customs
Then to Ricks restoration..... Kind of cool but nothing got my mind off that truck 😬 ....oh well wasn't meant to be

Re: Craigslist Blazer in Colorado

This blazer is a few hours away from me, and I planned on buying it for my kid. I would have been more in a hurry, but under questioning the kid revealed that there was rust through on the rockers, and the bottom panels were rhino lined. I think that the price was pretty close to value, and if it would have lasted I would have bought it, but I don't think that you missed the deal of the century.

Here is your Blazer. I had a feeling this is where it went. These guys have terrible reputation.

Crap like that pisses me off. Is this guy actually turning that kind of profit on these things? he threw $10k on top of it and listed it?!

Unfortunately they have a lot of Blazers, and they move quickly. Here is another thread about their honesty:

Re: Craigslist Blazer in Colorado

I wonder if they will throw in a set of aftermarket Rocker boxes so the new owner can begin the body work. Seems to be missing a set.

He did point out the crack in the top and the worn paint in the scuff area of the drivers door though.

Maybe not too bad around the original listing price.

Yeah, the original owner admitted that there was a "little" rust under the doors, and he had rhino lined the bottom. I wonder who removed the rockers? Im surprised that they didn't rattle can the undercarriage.

Re: Craigslist Blazer in Colorado

Them dirt balls ! They also have another one they bought it's the orange one with the roof rack. Looks as if they changed some stuff around and swapped out the interior with another truck and changed the top so that we wouldn't notice.
They don't like to show pics of the vin to much I think because of this reason.
They had on on here a week ago stating it had 41000 miles lol 😄

Re: Craigslist Blazer in Colorado

I actually bought the 72 K5 Blazer your talking about from World wide. I've always wanted to own a piece of history and now I do. It is a strong blazer pretty much stock, the way I like them. Has rust under front passenger and driver rockers, I think that is to be expected? Motor seems a little tired, but other than that I'm supper stocked to own my first blazer. Looking forward to learning how to work on it and teach my young son as well. Pass on the tour has to the next generation.
