'60-'63 Truck Radio
I was wondering if someone can help me with what this radio is worth. I ran the numbers and it looks like it is for a '60-'63 truck. Appears to be in quite good shape. I haven't tested it yet so I don't know if it works or not. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Re: '60-'63 Truck Radio
I saw a '60s radio in working condition on eBay for $50. That might be a good place to start?

Re: '60-'63 Truck Radio
Thanks Misstere, I searched eBay up and down, the only place I could find this model radio selling was in Australia a few years ago...I shall go have another look.

We are looking for one for a 1961 Gmc when you do price it.

Re: '60-'63 Truck Radio
The knobs look like those from 1960. Repairing those radios is tough and can be expensive, I'm having one rebuilt right now.

Re: '60-'63 Truck Radio
From what I was told, it needs to be hooked up to a speaker while operating or it blows the capacitor.

Re: '60-'63 Truck Radio
Ive seen them go for $15-75 usually. If you watch ebay, its kinda misleading because people ask for $75 or $100, but dont get it. This is for complete working radios with the knobs.

Re: '60-'63 Truck Radio
You are correct, eBay can be misleading. I should have mentioned to look in the completed section, it shows what the items sold for. This is a more accurate test of what people will pay. Sorry guys!

Re: '60-'63 Truck Radio
Yeah, I see tons of them on there for $100 buy now option....but they dont go at those prices. People can ask what they want, but doesn't make it what its worth.
