I am going to change my sidemarkers to the deluxe style and just wondering what you people thought. Clear or standard amber and red?

Amber and red for me. Adds more class in my opinion.

Amber and red. Maybe clear on a white or silver truck, but still wouldn't be my first choice. On a black truck definitely amber and red.

The only clear lenses I like on the 72's are the turn signal lenses in the bumper.

Amber & red,the way it was meant to me. When they are queer,I mean clear,they become something you wonder why they are there. When they are amber & red they don't make you wonder. They are just there like on all vehicles after '67. Why draw attention? Red on back,amber in front,and clear headlights. It's just the way it is and always has...except '64 Grand Prix

Here is CA, and probably a lot of other states require amber/red.

i am with everyone else , amber and red and i prefer the 72 (i think) the ones that have two raised areas on them with the stainless trim

Red and amber are the best bet. Now its just a matter if you want the standard, deluxe or van style.

You should look into Marquez Design's amber/red side markers! They are pricey, but they are worth it!

I despise yellow lenses so I run clear in the front and red in the rear. On a darker vehicle I like them tinted.

I never even thought of putting red/amber on my white truck, I think they would stand out too much.

I would have used red/amber if I had kept it blue though.
