Sat pics! (9-8)
Well I didn't sit home yesterday and I did take some pics but most of them are here. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=1#post2349785
I got up about 15 til 5 and decided I wasn't ready for the world, layed back down and got up again at 6 and headed for Pigeon Forge (see above thread). We spotted this along the way. (and I will be using this pic in the future every time someone asks about bed wood!) We hung around in Pigeon Forge for awhile and then headed back over the Foothills Parkway and made a run through Deal's Gap. I shot these at what's referred to as "Fugitive Dam". This is the dam that Harrison Ford's Character lept from in the Fugitive film. We then motored back towards home. I talked to Brian on the way and he said that he and Chuckles were working on a bed floor so I made a stop there. While over at Brian's I thought I would try a couple night shots. There wasn't any moonlight out at all last night so I made a feeble attempt at some multiple flash photography. This shot had the lens open for 64sec while I walked around the truck with my other camera hitting the flash. I think there were about 14 flashes in all. Anywho after that I headed to the house. My head hit the pillow just a bit after midnight. So, until next week.....Let's keep the wheels rollin!!! |

Asa, was that 54 in Wears Valley? I'm pretty sure I know where that truck sits. A buddy of mine who's into Advance Design GMC's tried to buy that truck, but they said it made a nice yard ornament, so they didn't want to sell it.

Re: Sat pics! (9-8)
Asa, my interior won't be done in time for the show, so I'll just be staking a claim on the street. I already have a good spot saved with my 86. I'll beright in front of the book store and tourist info center. Call me whwn you get into town and we'll hook up. Too bad the other guys can't make it.
