Newbie with recent purchase
I'm a newbie to the forum. I just purchased this 1972 Chevy Cheyenne Super SWB about 3 weeks ago. It's Medium Olive / Dark Olive (557) on glove box. Was this paint scheme an option. I'm use to seeing two tone paint scheme's with paint in the middle of the upper and lower moldings.

Re: Newbie with recent purchase
The only real disappointment is the fact that the PO cut the dash and put in a modern radio. Before selling they put back in a knob radio disguising the modification. I'm finding it hard to locate a radio face that hides the cut-out.

Re: Newbie with recent purchase
might have to weld it back up, or cut it out more for a bigger radio

Re: Newbie with recent purchase
LOL...I'm am 6'7" and I can't stretch out. The truck is obviously lowered and I feel like I'm driving a go-cart. I'm considering raising it back to stock but have not made up my mind yet. It's lowered with drop spindles and coils so it would be easily returned to original height without too much work.

Re: Newbie with recent purchase
....didn't know if the pic was an optical illusion but I guess not....if you do take it back to stock height, it should be real easy selling the drop parts on here....just be sure to become a subscriber before you list......drive it, enjoy it, and use this board to ask all of your questions...lots of good people and plenty of knowledge about these truck on here
Enjoy and keep on truckin'!

Re: Newbie with recent purchase
Very nice truck. Consider a tilt column as that will give you some more room. And possibly a smaller steering wheel (assuming it has PS)
