My newly acquired 1968 C-10 SWB!
Oh yeah! Back in the 67-72 truck game again from a long vacation! TOO LONG! Got me a SOLID 1968 SWB
Working on some progress now but here are some pics to get started...Crappy cellphone pics though! Now it is a 327, 3 speed on the column and 4.11 gears I believe. Let me know what you think!! CHRIS

Re: My newly acquired 1968 C-10 SWB!
Thanks for all the good words guys! I really love the truck! Gonna get started on the suspension, brakes etc pretty quick as well as gas tank location adjustment. Got a 700R4 gonna be going in soon with a 1 piece driveshaft! Hopefully when I move my other Malibu I will do some more goodies including vintage air!!!! Cause it is HOT here

Re: My newly acquired 1968 C-10 SWB!
Alrighty guys.... Need some guidance! This is going to be my daily driver soon. I have some plans in place but would like to hear some input from you guys. I want to put disc brakes on the front of course and lower it. But how much to lower? I was thinking going 2.5" spindle and 4 inch in rear. But let me know what you guys think. Keep in mind I want to pull my car trailer and 1979 Malibu street strip car to the strip and drive this truck every day...
THANKS guys CHRIS

Re: My newly acquired 1968 C-10 SWB!
I'm doing a 3.5/4 or maybe 3.5/5...and still plan to be able to tow. At some point I'll put an air system in the rear, to be able to compensate for a load.

Re: My newly acquired 1968 C-10 SWB!
Thanks guys for all the kind words! I love this truck!!! Took it for a spin on lunch! Not having a tag on it is killing me! Need to driveeeeeeeeeeeeee hahah
BigOrange! You can definetly get some dibs on the gas tank if you want it. What are my options for doing a swap? I am still doing my research on that. I got a 20 gallon fuel cell with sender but dont want to put it in the bed like a race truck. lata CHRIS
