anyone know of a good auto shipper that could bring my 68 longhorn from cali to pa ... iv had it with a auto shipping company for over 2 weeks now with no luck,, I was hoping to have it home for my birthday next sat but they screwed around to long now. I dont no if its just caus its a older 3/4 ton truck no one want to take it or what?? im up to 1400 bucks with no luck... any help would be appriciated.. thanks

We just used Central dispatch Az to Tn .

did u use them direct?? i was under the understanding that central dispatch was them main dispatch that all the brokers used,,i didnt relize u could use them direct.

If the truck runs I don't think they're discriminating against it. 1400 sounds like a good price for literally all the way across the country.

take a week off work and ship some tools over there... and drive it home!
It ain't cheaper, but it is a LOT more fun. (you were away for a while, but that's what I did when i got my burb from the Seattle area)

the prices started @ 1000 bucks and up,,im at the high side of them now @ 1400,,the broker that im using sucks!! they never call me back,,that havent called with a counter offer,,nothing,,I was just wondering what the guys that have had vehicles shipped had done.. Longhorn thats the same thing i did with my burb from pheonix,,, if i dont have it buy sept. 9,,,,,ROAD TRIP!!!!

longhorn ,,what did the burb get mileage wise on the way back,,, they r prob pritty close to same ,,,396 auto,,, i think it has 410 gears in it,, what did ur 3/4 rear have ??

well i think it is going to be picked up tonight around 6 pm pacific,, then headin to pa,,CAINT WAIT!!! it ended up costin me 1700 to get it shipped but i guess it is the whole way across the us

mine had 3.54 gears... I got a low of just shy of 10 MPG in the mtns.... and 15.5 I think in the planes. Truck was loaded down to max capacity

Man i wish i could haul trucks on occasion. Even though i have more than capable truck and trailer job and house wont let5 me get away. Love driving my blue crew hd and seeing the countryside but as said, hard to make it profitable unless you do short hauls or can haul multiple vehicless at once. Sorry for my rambling hope u get er home safely

shipping a vehicle through a broker sucks. period. I've done it a few times.... will never do it again.

you best bet is to call direct to shippers and see what you can work out.
