engine number help needed.
What can you guys tell me about these numbers? They came from the passengers’ side of the block, in front of the head. I was told the engine was out of a 72 but who knows?

What you need to get is the number on the block that is located behind the driver side head, but the suffix of TYY tells you exactly what the engine is.
Year = 1975 Cubic Inches = 350 Application = conv.cab Horsepower = 165 Carburator = 4 barrel C-10 to 2500 (meaning 1/2 to 3/4 truck engine) |
