Chassis Service Manual vs. Chassis Service Manual

What's the difference between the two? I have the service manual for my year.

Re: Chassis Service Manual vs. Chassis Service Manual

The overhaul breaks down the components into rebuildable instructions. While the service manual is more of a general service maintence manual.

Some of the earlier years combined the books into one package...but there much thicker.

Mine is the 1967 Chevrolet Truck Chassis Service Manual.

What exactly is the combined one called?

That's funny? I have separate Service and Overhaul manuals for Chevy '67.

Re: Chassis Service Manual vs. Chassis Service Manual

I wasn't overly impressed with the service manual. Is the 67-72 assembly manual the same as the original overhaul manual?
