Anyone want pics of specific stuff?
A while ago, my dad ordered a Canon A70 (I think that's the model...3.2 megapixel) camera and it certainly should be in by now...and tomorrow I go home with my '70. At the least I'll have my first pic for the "How many of you USE your truck" thread, hehe...
Just wondering if anyone wants pics of anything in particular...I want an excuse to use the digicam, hehe...I'm gonna get a lot anyway, but if there's any particular angles / items you want me to focus on, let me know...I suppose I should put up a mod list, heh. 700R4 transmission Single-piece driveshaft 2.5" / 4" drop Spray-in bedliner Smooth sidemarkers LED tails Aiwa CDC-MP3 deck (yes, I'm a cutter ) Vortec heads with Performer Vortec intake 1999 Suburban second-row seat That's all I can think of at the moment, as far as stuff that I can actually get a picture of...not like I can take a pic of the Comp Cams 260H cam that's in it, hehe...

Any excuse will work.
Progress pics on what you do, maybe as a personal log. I use mine when taking things apart (since it usually takes a while to get back to it), or simply to remind me. I have over 5000 pics taken with mine. Some from when we were buying land, looking at homes, working on the truck, cycle...........you name it. Post some of your ride as it stands now.........

I would like to see what the 2.5/4" drop looks like. I'm thinking about doing that to my truck....
There you go, that's one excuse....LOL

I just dropped a 350 with a 700 behind it in my 70 frame. I have vortec heads w/ center bolt valve covers. I'd like to see some sparkplug routing set-ups and pulley set-ups pics. I'm also running a holley with an air gap intake. I'd like to see your TV cable set-up at the carb if you are running one. Pics are worth a thousand words. Thanks, Danny

I want to see how nice they fit your fenderwells, and how much of a gap is there, to see how much more of offset I could get on my wheels when I finally get'em.

Okay guys, this'll probably take a few days (note that I've already got a few shots for the use-your-truck thread, and will be getting a LOT more...it's moving week - me from dorm to parents, last of my girlfriend's stuff from old house to new house, and then girlfriend + me to apartment in Tucson on the 27th ) but I'll see how many I can get.
Seke69, nope, still running an in-cab tank, sorry. Polevault, good call on the TV setup, I'm sure many people will want to see it. Quadrajet but should still help. I don't know if anything out of the junkyard will work right away - this driveshaft was custom-fabbed in '99 for my THM400, and then shortened / new yoke for my 700R4. Seat guys...will do, and I was planning on getting ones of the mounting anyway (nice and easy with flip-up seats!) - I actually used the stock brackets and just cut them down in some areas, spaced them up in others. Really a pretty easy install for something that's technically custom work.

Okay folks, here comes batch one...
That's mine on the right, and a nice looking one I parked nearby... My nice clean bedliner, courtesy of Inyati Another shot of the liner. The seat and the interior... From another angle. And the passenger side. Yes, the carpet is supposed to be blue. Yes, it's really that black. Trust me, I've tried.

http://members.cox.net/iowncalculus/...ftfrontfit.jpg[/img] The left front (245/60-15) and the sidemarker and some dirt on the truck. A more ground-level shot, with more dirt. No, those lights aren't on, that's reflection! The rear shot of my left tires. For the record, I've got an Early Classic disc conversion which widens the front track by about an inch. Driver's side front bracket for the seat. Using an original hole there, the only one that does so. Same side, just the rear.

The most mods I had to do - aside from drilling the holes in the cab floor - to install the seats. I had to remove the section of the seat frame that went over where the hump is, and then bolted it down, using spacers to level it out. The passenger side. The rear bolts are hidden under the seat bracketry; you can slide the whole mess forward to expose them. I didn't because all mechanisms on this seat are awfully stiff (sat in a lot of dust). Passenger side, front bolt. Has a spacer under it. Extreme passenger side, larger spacer. Notice that the plastic from the original seat still fits, and makes the whole mess look much cleaner! Right rear sidemarker. Yes, I am a cutter!

On the slate for tomorrow - TV cable, underhood, and driveshaft / trailer hitch (bolting mine back on).

Thanks for the pics man, those of the seat brackets and stuff will sure make it easier when I get to put a later modes seat in my truck.
Fatman.

LOL...um, seeing as I'm still technically on shaky footing with the law (no traffic school for still well over a year, etc) I'm avoiding those a bit...not to mention, actually, I've never really done one (kinda broke and tires cost money!).
That, and the rate at which my neighbor manages to break something major in one of his vehicles leads me to believe that thrashing a vehicle that hard regularly is an expensive proposition. I haven't been packing the camera whenever I've seen rice yet, I may get a shot soon though. Completely agree there. Damn, I REALLY wish I had it on me earlier tonight...was coming home with the gf from bowling, and look over as a vehicle makes a left turn onto our road going our direction...it's a police cruiser...with the rear passenger door open! She (the blonde officer) is yammering away on a phone or something and doesn't appear to notice the door fling wide open mid-turn, especially since it closes as she straightens out...she then makes another left turn, and THEN notices it, flips her lights on, ad gets out...it was hillarious

A closeup of my manifold, showing where I had to clearance it to use the new valvecovers. My front suspension, with Belltech Nitrodrop shocks. After 30,000mi. My fuel line setup, after the original line WOULD NOT LET GO of either the fuel pump or the carb. With nice big filter. A closeup of my dusty HEI and my tranny dipstick. A closeup of how my rear tires fit from underneath. 4" ECE drop leaves. What the bolts for my seats look like underneath; locknut and fender washers.
