rear suspension question

i know this is not the suspension forum need help
i just got my c-notchs put on today and for my panhard bar i was going to buy ece super track bar i know that it mounts to the trailing arm but i dont think it is going to work for me i am going to run bags and i just wanted it to be as low as i can get it with out getting carried away kinda on a budget dont want to buy a watts link wanting to know what yall do got pictures Name:  IMG_0273.JPG

i thought the super track bar went under the trailing arm like the shock relocator bracket does. your problem is the bar hits the frame right, because in your first pic the trailing arm looks higher than the frame so obviously if the track bar was on in the 1st pic it would hit the frame. moving the tracking bar below the trailing arm would give you clearance. i'm sure you read the instructions right though so i don't know.

I've seen the track bar moved to the side of the trailing arm that's toward the center of the vehicle. You're going to have problems with the track bar hitting the frame before your axle runs out of notch to move up in to with the ECE piece. I've seen guys make their notch longer to accomodate for the bar and I've seen the bar moved to the side. I think CPP sells a bar that is already set up to be mounted on the side of the arm that would save you some fab time. I'd also get those brake lines moved before they get pinched off by contact with the frame.

The track bar is correct for the instructions. I just finished mine last weekend.



I would think a little fab and it could work from the bottom side. I got some 3/8" angle iron and plan to make my own shock mounts they could also carry the bar bracket also just a thought.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

thanks i havent seen any thing that would work but ill check cpp if any one has some ideas that would be great i figured if i could get the track bar for around a hundred and it worked i'd go that route

you need some lowering blocks to get the axle to go in to c-notch and have the brackets under the blocks so it doesn't get in the way of the frame

Exactly what I did. 3/4" worked out to be the correct thickness for me

I used the same bolt-in notch as you and I made a set of lowering blocks out of 2x2 square tubing. When the axle sets on the bumpstop in the notch, there is just enough clearance.
