Re: mud flaps????

Three holes per fender X 4 = 12 = 12 holes where rust can start. A soft mit Zip car wash and a bucket of warm water and your paint will be fine. IMHO they really don't do much for the appearence of a vehicle.

Re: mud flaps????

I worry about rust forming between the flap and body where moisture and grime are trapped.I`ve used rock-guard in the paint under the belt moulding before.Really, you don`t pick up rocks much with street tires anyway. There`s a clear vinly that you can put on there, but it yellows on time.I just gave up worrying about it.It takes a long time for the little chips to add up enough to detract from the overall looks.By then there`s other issues more apparent.

I vote:No

Re: mud flaps????

My flaps were on my truck when I bought it so I just left em on there! I have a bud named Mike who hates em..........so I like to call them Mikeflaps!!! I feel like they're reasonably subtle. Most people either don't notice them or they're just polite enough to keep their mouths shut about em!
