Power steering ?

A buddy of mine has a 71 or 72 chevy truck he is probably going to send to the junk yard. It still has the power steering pump and gearbox in it. What do I need to do to make it work in my 69 GMC. Do I just intall pump and gearbox? Thanks

1st thought ,,,,, the power steering will work somehow (don't know, never done it!!)

2nd thought ,,,,, DON'T LET HIM SEND IT TO THE JUNKYARD !!!!!!!!!

Save that truck ,,, do whatever you can ,,, park it in MY yard if you have to !!!!!!
