Project "Blue" 2001 Chevy Blazer Xtreme

Just picked this up last week. Since I have been doing an S10 frame swap on a 52 Chevy and it got me interested in picking up an S10. I really liked the Cyclones when I was growing up so I thought why not pick something like this up. Short term goal is to get it running and driving nicely and everything working. Long term goal would be to LS swap it. It really needs the front end rebuilt. It had a torn up tire and was pulling to right really bad. Interior was really dirty and needs a good cleaning and probably carpet.

So far here is what I have ordered.
2 new tires.
Dash grills
New headlights, fog lights, turn signals.
2" dropped spindles
2" blocks for rear
New front rotors and brakes
Complete front end rebuild kit
Antenna
Billet Chevy symbol
New light switch
New rear hatch shocks
Door panel clips

That’s a lovely looking Blazer.

I was just wondering, why are you replacing the turn signals?

I just bought one a few weeks ago, and one of my first ambitions is to change the indicators too, from yellow to clear.

Looked on Amazon this week, no stock on clear, only smoked.

You cant tell in the pictures but they are obviously some cheap knock offs that are flaking on the inside. I decided to go with these because they have fog lights in them as well.

Excellent.

I like the idea of the fogs included.

Buy, prefer the com-let’s clear fronts.

Even free, I would not go smoke either, currently stuck on clears.

And finding wheels as well.

I will be removing the IROC wheels and have some 2020 Camaro wheels I am putting on it.

I like the color. And the vanity plate.

Put 2020 Camaro rims on it. Kind of a new twist on it since I am replacing IROC wheels. The best part is I will likely be able to sell the old rims for what I paid for the new ones.

Free wheels and a change in look, plus sticking your own stamps on it.

Perfect.

Cool. Anything else as far as progress or upgrades?
