Looked at a 69SWB today
I really should not be looking at another truck but I had to go look since it was so close to my work. There is no engine or tranny cab corners are solid but rockers are gone and someone cut the floor for a shifter. Some ugly seat
and no dash cluster or wiring. He will take $1400 and the bed is fairly straight and would look good on my 69 if I shortened the frame. What do you think? I offered a $1000.00. It is still 6 lug but he did have some 5 lug components. The passenger fender and core support is shot.

Re: Looked at a 69SWB today
I doubt I would go that high ($1K), no motor/trans, cab in rough but fixable shape, looks like it has been run through something, I might go $750. but that is just for the short box and SWB frame

Re: Looked at a 69SWB today
You could easily pull 1 k out of that bed and frame. I gave that for my 67 swb With no motor or trans mostly because it had a nice bed. Let's face it there just aren't that many short beds out there that people are willing to part with
