I know you guys don't like boring threads but I need help
I'm hoping I can get some help on this new 66 with a 292ci I just picked up. It has a BAD exhaust leak and upon further inspection there was no gaskets between the intake and exhaust manifolds and the bolts and nuts were missing so it was building a HUGE amount of carbon.
I took it all apart and tried to start assembling it. This is the bottom of the intake This are the 2 gaskets I got in the kit: and Which one do I use? It's a Texas truck with the stock motor, carb, intake, exhaust manifold etc.

that is your heat riser gasket if you live in an area that gets pretty cold in the winter I would use the open gasket it pre heats the intake manifold and makes the engine run better on warm up. Most likely what your truck came with.

Man I can't get many replies on this board at all. I guess it's all about pictures haha.
I installed the sold one. I'm in Texas and don't need the intake heated very much. I'm about to LS swap this thing anyway.
