Windshield washer pump
I can here the pump click when I press the wiper button but it is not pumping any water. Is there a trick to get the pump going or is it a bad pump?

Re: Windshield washer pump
The diaphragm in the pump is likely shot. You can rebuild the pump, but there's also the option of putting a later-model pump on it. It's a pretty popular upgrade.

Re: Windshield washer pump
Yours did more than mine when mine was only 19 years old! According to the original owner, the washer pump never worked, not even the day he drove it off the new car lot!
Here is what I did, Trico pump from O'Reilly's and a bracket I made out of some aluminum TV base someone tossed in a dumpster. I cut out a bracket with a dremel tool and made spacers to give me enough room to tighten down the lock nuts. I still have to hook it up. |

Re: Windshield washer pump
Did you prime the lines? I had the same issue until I filled all the lines with washer fluid.
