Question Need Help Deciding on Front End

Well I fell into a few extra bucks and decided to get to work on something on the truck. The thing that drives me nuts right now is the front end. I need to get it aligned but no sense in doing it without getting the whole front end done. 24+ years are showing their age and need to get it fixed. Now here's my options on manufacturers and packages they have for my truck unless someone happens to know a better setup.

Energy Suspensions $183.95

Material-Graphite Impregnated Polyurethane

What's the best deal? I remeber that the graphite impregnated are better at not squeaking which makes me lean towards them. Now if it's betwwen P-S-T and Performance Suspension is the extra $$$ worth what extra you get or can I get the parts cheaper buying them elsewhere? Also does anyone know if I can buy Peformance Suspension Componets from another place like Summit?

I've heard very good things about Energy Suspension. Although, that PST kit comes with alot! Hopefully somebody with a little more knowledge will chime in.

What ever you do, DO NOT use anyone that offers polyurathane "only" bushings. Sooner or later they will squeak like mad. The money saved is not worth your sanity.

PST and PSC appear to have the same parts in their kit. They both use polygraphite bushings, so they won't squeak. It looks like the PST kit is just cheaper, but make sure there isn't some difference. If not, I think you have a winner with PST....

I agree. The only noticable difference is the PSC kit has inner tie rod ends and the idler arm.

I can only give props to PST, I used the same kit on Yeller and loved the difference it made. The truck cornered very well and that was with NO swaybars. Also, the $219 price INCLUDES shipping!

Here's another vote for PST. It made a TREMENDOUS difference in cornering on my truck...but on the same token it made the truck VERY stiff...but I guess that's my fault, cuz the truck is so damn light.

this is why i got the PSC kit. it comes with everything. i don't know why they leave the inner tie rods and the idler arm out of the PST kit. you will definatly want both of those to do the front end rebuild. they are worn out for sure after 25 years. i had a bad idler arm on mine and it was causing crazy front end problems. i bought another idler arm one time at orielys by itself and i think it was close to 40 bucks just for the house brand one. so if yu get the PST kit and then go by an idler arm you'll alredy be close to 260 and the inners tie rods and you'll be over what you would have spent on the PSC kit. that was my reasoning behind getting the PSC even though it costs more

I used the PSC stuff on my 92 Z28. It was quality stuff, and did not squeak. The customer service was good, too. You can also buy sway bars and springs from them as well.

Sounds like the PSC would be the sure way to go. Plus that price is with shipping as well. I'll get the check next week so as soon as it hits I'll be ordering something then along with front springs

Somebody makes greasable polyurethane bushings, but I can't remember who.
