brake fluid spillage
It seems that the top of my resivior on my brake fluid is leaking. Can the gasket/seal be replaced in the top of this thing? Or is there maybe something im missing that caused this thing to puke out fluid in the first place/? thanx

Usually the gaskets are good, but the cover is warped. I would check the seal and the cover.

My 68 was leaking out around the top. I took off the cover and cleaned the top of the master cyc with a sharp putty knife. It was rusty on top and the gasket wouldn't seal. Be real carefull and don't scrape the trash into the fluid. Wipe off the gasket to make sure the mating surfaces are clean.
It worked for me! |
